Mark Heil, GIS Specialist

Mark Heil joined Ecosphere in spring 2007 and serves as the GIS specialist in the Farmington office. He is skilled in ESRI ArcMap, ArcPad, ArcInfo, and ArcIMS, as well as Macromedia Dreamweaver and Microsoft Office. He is currently completing a M.S. in applied geography at New Mexico State University, and is on schedule to complete his degree in December of this year. He also holds a B.S. in geography from the same institution. Prior experience includes work for the BLM and New Mexico State Cooperative Extension Service, primarily in the surveying, plotting and mapping of invasive weed species. He also served as a teaching and research assistant during his graduate studies, and led webpage development for water resource management of the Paso del Norte watershed of the Rio Grande River.
